“The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.” ― Joseph Campbell
Odysseus’s travels from Troy home to Ithaca provide readers with a classic example of The Hero’s Journey.
Through a Prezi presentation, you and your group members will outline the journey Odysseus takes in order to
become a hero.
Don’t forget to explain how Odysseus’s journey changes him. What does he learn along the way? Make sure to
describe Odysseus’s character at the beginning of his 10-year journey, and then show the ways Odysseus is
transformed as a result of his experiences. Use specific details from the text to support your claims.
