FALL IS HERE!
ALUMNA PROFILE: GEORGENA TERRY '72
You might say Georgena Terry '72 forged her own
path, but it would be the only cliché in her story.
Georgena earned her first bachelor's degree as a drama major at Chatham College. She then
earned her second bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at Carnegie Mellon University
and also an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.

Her business acumen mixed with her technical understanding helped her entrepreneurially; she
chould make and she could market. Recognizing an unmet need as a lifelong biker, Georgena
launched Terry Precision Bicycles for Women, which grew to include award-winning components
and apparel. At the upcoming 9th Annual Think Big Forum presented by Chatham's Center for
Women's Entrepreneurship, Georgena will share the stories from her entrepreneurial endeavors
and lessons she's learned in creating products and creating a business. Join Georgena and other
businesswomen at the event at Shadyside Campus or watch via free live video stream provided
by Chatham.edu/CWE! Learn more and register by clicking event info below.
ALUMNI PROFILE: AAFKE LONEY, MBA '11
Aafke Loney Scores on the Ice and in the Classroom
"Take risks. Don't limit who you think you are;
how you define yourself. If a door opens, step
through it. Every step I've taken has given me
the confidence to expand who I am and –
ultimately – who I will become."
