




at Asti Road, turn east, and you're there!

o Marathon: 7:30 am
o Half Marathon: 7:30 am
o 10K: 8:30 am
o 5K: 8:30 am
Free parking is available at the winery. Once the parking
lots are full, there's parking along Asti Road. Parking
attendants will guide you appropriately.

we can't deliver your gear to an aid station for you.
On the Course






Aid stations are 1.5 to 2.5 miles apart on all courses.
Restrooms will be sited at every aid station.
Hydration and nutrition at the aid stations will feature
Skratch Labs hydration, water, and fruit.
Weather should be beautiful! The forecast (as of the
morning of Saturday the 15th) calls for a low of 49 the night
before and a high of 75 on race day. You can check the
latest forecast here.
Course maps. As all races take place in private vineyards,
there are no street names, and maps would only make
matters more confusing. The course will be very well marked
with chalk, signs, and ribbon.
Traffic shouldn't be an issue. 5K and 10K runners will never
be on the road. Marathon and half-marathon runners will
only be on the road going to and from the vineyard entrance,
about 1,000 feet. However, as always, please use caution!
About Running the Vineyards


Variable surfaces are inevitable when running through a
working vineyard. While the majority of the course is on
packed, groomed roads, some sections are less wellgroomed dirt. Please use caution and watch for ruts,
bumps, gopher holes, rocks, and puddles.
Decision points occur several times on the course. There
will be large signs with directions for each race, and
instructions based on whether it's your first or second time
by that point. Please be mentally prepared to pay
attention so that you stay on your course.



Distances for all four races are as close as we can get them.
Countless hours with multiple GPS units and apps and a
surveyor's wheel have shown us the variability between
sources. If your GPS shows a slightly different distance,
please know that we got as close as possible to the distance
you signed up for.
Staying on course is vital to a fair race and accurate
results. All running is on vineyard roads, and ambiguous
spots will be marked. Please stay on the course. If you go
off the road and cut a corner or run through a field, you are
off course, and may be disqualified.
No mile markers. Due to the overlapping nature of the four
races, we would need dozens of separate mile markers for
each distance, further confusing and cluttering the course.
Distances will be posted at each aid station.
