Acids and Bases
Acids: Acid + Water H+ (hydrogen ions)
Bases: Base + Water OH- (hydronium ions)
pH Scale: Measures the concentration of
hydrogen ions in solutions

Acids: pH values ranging from 0 to below 7.
0 is the strongest acid.
Bases: pH values ranging from above 7 to 14.
14 is the strongest base.
