In this small and nice restaurant, you can eat cupcakes, cookies,

The BEST for us was the large and varied selection of cupcakes flavours
(cotton candy, m&m's, oreo, nutella...) and the really enormous pink or
white cakes, which are incredible ! The typical big American hamburger
(also called BBQ) with bacon and avocado is truly delicious !

THE CAKE SHOP
In this small tearoom you can buy lots of cooking accessories, and of
course you can taste a large variety of cupcakes, scones, cookies,
cheesecakes and other English products, while drinking a cup of tea or
coffee.
Look at the big shelf with lots of decorations for cakes, such as flakes,
food dye or candles. The shelf is organized by sections, and events like
Halloween, Christmas and Birthdays are well represented.
Their big collection of cooking books will help you learn how to cook
simple recipes with Mars or Milka and other chocolate bars. Moreover, the
employers can teach you how to realize your own cakes, and desserts a
big wedding cake.
We talked to the shop owner, an Anglo-French lady who owns the shop.
She was very sociable and even though she spoke English very quickly,
we understood her well. She told us that the Cake Shop is an
independent shop, and that the principal motivation is to share her
experience with people and cook with them. Two people speak English
so, it's easy for the Anglo-Saxons to do their shopping there.
12
They updated their website recently, and you can order cakes or
accessories from the Internet. They send you your order in only one
or two days. It's quick !
To us, it's a good place to go if you want to eat real good cookies and
scones. Moreover, they have various teas like the well-known Earl Grey or
the mint green tea.
Definitely a good address !
Opening hours : from Tuesday to Saturday.
From 10:30 am to 18:30 pm.
