Their big collection of cooking books will help you learn how to cook simple recipes with Mars or Milka and other chocolate bars. Moreover, the employers can teach you how to realize your own cakes, and desserts a big wedding cake. We talked to the shop owner, an Anglo-French lady who owns the shop. She was very sociable and even though she spoke English very quickly, we understood her well. She told us that the Cake Shop is an independent shop, and that the principal motivation is to share her experience with people and cook with them. Two people speak English so, it's easy for the Anglo-Saxons to do their shopping there. 12 They updated their website recently, and you can order cakes or accessories from the Internet. They send you your order in only one or two days. It's quick ! To us, it's a good place to go if you want to eat real good cookies and scones. She told us that her Café is independent which means that it does not belong to a chain store. The Bookworm welcomes foreigners like Chinese or English people. The owner is Scottish and in her café she offers English books to read. The comfortable couches and small wooden tables contribute to make it cosy and warm.
