3rd Grade
The vision of the Strategic Plan is to create a
learning environment that enables our students to
be responsible and accountable for their own
learning. Students must clearly understand
expectations in order to take ownership for their
learning. The expectations are developed by our
teachers and are aligned with the Illinois State
Standards and Illinois Assessment Frameworks.
These expectations, written as Essential Learning
Targets, are in student friendly “I Can” statements
and are what students should know and be able
to do by the end of a specific school year.
