Term Time Holidays
If you are re-booking holidays for next year
please be aware that new government
guidelines will make it very difficult for
schools to grant leave of absence during
term time. It is particularly important that
Year 2 and Year 6 children are not taken out
of school because of SATs preparation.

Friday 21st December
Last day of term.
Holiday Homework
School Uniform
The children always look very smart in their
school uniforms and they are proud to wear
their school colours of royal blue and grey.
Could you please ensure that they have
sensible school shoes (no heels or trainers),
and our regulation sports kit (no beach wear
or football shirts) in September.
Please continue to read with your child(ren),
and keep rehearsing number facts such as
times tables and number bonds over the
Summer holiday. The children have all been
allocated e-books to read online and
Polesworth Library are also running a reading
challenge (to read 6 books) over the break.
We will be presenting special prizes in
September for children who achieve this.
There are two booklets on our website which
you might find useful – How to Help Your
Child with Maths and How to Help Your Child
with English.
THANK YOU!
Have a lovely Summer holiday with
your families! See you in September!
