Snowman Story
1. In this lesson, you are going to write a story that you make up about a snowman (with
adult assistance as needed).
2. This short be a short story that tells a fictional story about a snowman who comes to
life – tell about what he does.
3. Print out the “Snowman Story” form
4. This story should include:
a. A beginning, middle, and end
b. At least 10 complete sentences
c. Correct sentence structure
i. Begin sentences with a capital letter
ii. Leave spaces between words in sentences
iii. Make sure each sentence contains a subject and a verb
iv. End with correct punctuation
5. Draw a picture of your snowman.
6. Return snowman story and picture to Mrs. Blaney for credit.
7. At school, students will share their stories and pictures with the class.
