RECONSTRUCTION OF THE LAC DU NORD BRIDGE BEGINNING OF THE WORKS July 29th, 2013 Dear fellow citizens, It’s now official! Work for replacement of the Lac du Nord Bridge will begin on August 5th! Please read the attached press release for more information. In addition, we are pleased to inform you that we have obtained from the Government that the bridge will be raised to facilitate the passage of boats, which many people have been asking for a long time. We have also asked that the contractor do everything possible to avoid blocking marine traffic under the bridge. This will be no problem on the weekends but it may nevertheless cause some temporary interruptions on the weekdays, so check the signs installed by the contractor to be informed.
