This is a historic moment for the Romanian communities in Canada highlighting a continuous presence for more than 125 years on the NorthAmerican continent. The event shows the maturity of this community, which has grown in number over the last 27 years integrating itself harmoniously
in the Canadian landscape and expresses its aspiration to preserve and pass on the Christian faith. This event stresses out as well the growing importance
of Christian Orthodox Church in general as an active and meaningful presence in Canada.
