RRPLUS - Template and Guidelines

New Warrant® Herbicide Supplemental Labels Available
Do not exceed 4 quarts/acre per season when making a second
application in soybean or cotton.
What You’ll Learn...
■ Warrant® Herbicide provides residual control of grasses and
small seeded broadleaf weeds.
■ Supplemental labeling now approved for preplant, at-planting,
pre-emergence (PRE) surface, and post-emergence (POST)
applications in peanuts.
■ Supplemental labeling now approved for POST applications in
sugarbeets.
■ Supplemental labeling now approved for preplant, at-planting,
and PRE surface applications in field corn in certain
geographies.
Field Corn. Preplant, at-planting, and PRE surface applications
(incorporation is not labeled) are now approved for field and seed
corn production in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia,
Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma,
South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. Broadcast rates
of 1.5 to 3.0 quarts/acre, based on soil texture and organic matter,
can be used with each application method. Warrant® Herbicide is
not labeled for sweet corn.
Weeds Controlled and Crop Safety
Do not exceed 4 quarts/acre (3 lb/acre acetochlor) per season
when making a second application in corn, including POST
applications. Do not exceed 3 lb/acre total acetochlor per season.
Warrant® Herbicide provides pre-emergence, residual control of
grasses and small seeded broadleaf weeds, including foxtail
species, lambsquarters, Palmer pigweed, and waterhemp. The
encapsulation technology in Warrant® Herbicide helps provide
improved crop safety and residual weed control for up to 30 days
after application. The product will not control emerged weeds and
must be applied to a weed-free soil surface or in a tank-mixture
with products that provide POST control of weeds at the time of
application. Warrant® Herbicide can be tank mixed with Roundup
WeatherMAX® and Roundup PowerMAX® herbicides and applied
to cotton, corn, soybean, and sugarbeet products that include
Roundup Ready® technology.
Warrant® Herbicide can be tank mixed with other products
registered for field corn including atrazine, Aim® EC, Balance®
PRO, Balance® Flexx, Callisto®, Clarity®, Distinct®, Linex® 4L,
Lorox® DF, Marksman®, Princep®, Resource®, Roundup® brand
agricultural herbicides, and 2,4-D. Read and follow the most
restrictive label directions for each product in a tank mixture.

crops.

Treatment Recommendations
Scout fields and control weeds throughout the season. Proper
application timing protects yields, ensures correct use rate for
weed size, and considers the impact of environmental conditions
on performance.
Label Updates
Soybean and Cotton. Warrant® Herbicide may be applied
preplant, at-planting, PRE surface and POST up to R2 growth
stage soybean, or up to first flower in cotton, for PRE control of
labeled annual weeds. Incorporating PRE surface applications is
not labeled. Broadcast rates of 1.25 to 2.0 quarts/acre, depending
on soil organic matter and texture. Tank mixing with other POST
or soil-applied herbicides should be evaluated prior to use to avoid
the potential for crop injury.

Peanut. Warrant® Herbicide may be applied preplant, at-planting,
PRE and POST surface prior to flowering in peanut. Broadcast
rates should be 1.25 to 2.0 quarts/acre, depending on soil organic
matter and texture. Do not exceed 2 quarts/acre as a single
application or 4 quarts/acre per season when making multiple
applications. Allow 7 days between sequential applications. Do
not exceed a total of 4 quarts/acre (3 lb/acre acetochlor) per
season. Do not exceed a total of 3 applications per season.
Crop injury should be expected if conditions following a preplant,
at-planting, or PRE surface application of Warrant® Herbicide
cause stress (cold wet soils) or poor crop growth. These uses of
Warrant® Herbicide in peanuts are not recommended if slight
injury is not acceptable to the user.
Warrant® Herbicide may be applied early preplant or PRE to
peanut with Prowl®, Sonalan®, Strongarm®, Treflan®, or Valor® to
expand the weed control spectrum. POST herbicide tank products
include: Gramoxone®, Firestorm®, Parazone®, Cadre®, Cobra®,
paraquat, Storm®, Ultra Blazer®, or 2,4-DB to control emerged
weeds at the time of application or expand the weed control
spectrum. Tank mixing Warrant® Herbicide with other products or
to soils where other applications of soil-applied herbicides have
been made may increase the potential for crop injury. Read and
follow the most restrictive label directions for each product in a
tank mixture.
Sugarbeet. Warrant® Herbicide is now labeled for POST
application to sugarbeet at a broadcast rate of 1.25 to 2.0 quarts/
acre. POST applications can be made from the 2-leaf stage up to
the 8-leaf stage of growth, the 4-leaf stage of growth is the
optimum application timing. Do not exceed 2 quarts/acre as a
single application. Allow 7 days between sequential applications.
Do not exceed 4 quarts/acre (3 lb/acre acetochlor) per season
when making multiple applications. Do not exceed 3 applications
per season. Allow a minimum of 70 days between the last
application and harvest, feeding, or grazing the crop.
Crop injury may occur if Warrant® Herbicide applications are
followed by stressful conditions (cold, wet soils) or conditions that
cause poor crop growth. The user should determine that the crop
stand is at a desirable level before using Warrant® Herbicide. If
Warrant® Herbicide has been applied and the crop fails, replanting
sugarbeet is not recommended because significant crop injury
may occur. Replant a crop that is approved for use on the
Warrant® Herbicide label.

POST herbicide tank mixtures include: Betamix®, Nortron® SC,
Select®, Stinger®, and UpBeet® to expand the weed control
spectrum or control emerged weeds at the time of application. To
avoid severe crop injury refer to individual product labels,
including adjuvants, for crop injury precautions. Warrant®
Herbicide may be applied tank mixed with Roundup
WeatherMAX® and Roundup PowerMAX® herbicides only on
Genuity® Roundup Ready® Sugarbeets. Read all individual
product labels prior to use to understand all use and precautionary
instructions.
Warrant® Herbicide qualifies for Roundup Ready PLUS® Weed
Management Solutions incentives. The Roundup Ready PLUS®
platform provides useful information about weed management,
including how to reduce the risk, how to manage it and how to
receive incentives to offset herbicide costs. The platform features
regionally-specific recommendations for using herbicides, as well
as agronomic recommendations developed by leading university
weed scientists. More information is available at
