With midterm grades coming out soon and Fall
conferences coming up, it is safe to say that the
school year is well underway. The start of the
month of October brings us closer to Halloween,
and it means we are entering our sixth week of
the 2016-2017 school year. The staff at Mitchell
Middle School want to make sure that the students have a frighteningly-effective plan for being successful this year. We invite you to join us
on Thursday October 6th from 3:45-9:00 for the
Fall Parent Teacher Conferences. Stop in and
talk with the teachers about the plans for the
school year and how you can help your child experience academic success.

6th Grade Citizenship Winners for September
Every month we select 2 students from each of the 6th grade homeroom classes
that have displayed good citizenship. These are students who are kind to others
both in the classroom and in other areas of our building. These students participated in a variety of challenges to earn the privilege of bringing Herman to their class
for the month. Congratulations to Mrs. Chada’s class!
