Sheep Pen walk on Gage Lands
Present: Frank Farmer, Carol Pynn, Peter Griffin, Joan Normington, Wendy Williams
Those present entered at end of cul-de-sac on Burnham Road. We noted 6-7 small mounds of rocks.
We entered the Sheep Pen in the Gage Lands at the approximate West corner. The walls are a near perfect square at
about 4 feet in height. Fran Farmer walked the length of the West- North wall estimating it was easily over 300 feet in
length.
Google Earth maps indicate the Sheep Pen walls are about the same length for each side.
Developments and Windham High School abut the Sheep Pen.
The Sheep Pen is surrounded by Bear Hill Road, Burnham Road, London Bridge Road, and a distance away 111.
