Duplicator 2 Instruction

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1 Connect the handtight regulator to a helium
or nitrogen cylinder. Note: Do not open
cylinder valve until hose line has been connected to the regulator and the Duplicator.
2 Connect the hose to regulator. By sliding
the quick disconnect socket upward the
hose will easily press into place. Repeat this
process and connect the hose line to the
Duplicator.
3 Plug the cord into an electrical outlet and
turn power switch to the "ON" position.
Slowly open cylinder valve 3 to 4 full turns.

4 The Duplicator sizes balloons by releasing a
fixed amount of helium, nitrogen, or air by
use of a timer system. The Duplicator can
be powered by a helium or nitrogen cylinder, or an air compressor .The helium/nitro3
gen regulator features two gauges. The blue
gauge measures the tank pressure and the black gauge measures the amount of gas pressure supplied to the
Duplicator. The input pressure is adjusted by turning the large black knob. This adjusts the speed of inflation and allows
for additional control in adjusting the size of the balloon.
The recommended setting for 5-inch balloons is 50psi and 80psi for 9-inch and larger balloons. When
the cylinder pressure is less than 500psi it is necessary to check the size of the balloon. This is especially important when inflating larger balloons. As the cylinder pressure reduces, the Duplicator will out-perform the speed of
the gas flow and the size of the balloons may vary from the original setting. To compensate for low pressure,
increase the second setting on the Duplicator or increase the input pressure by turning the black knob on the regulator. When using an air compressor, due to the fixed input pressure, it is not necessary to change the size setting.
5 Adjust the regulator to the above recommended setting and adjust the size-setting dial on the Duplicator to the
desired size of balloon. The size-setting dial, now located on front of the Duplicator, is calibrated in seconds, not
by the size of the balloon. Use the following guide as a starting point to set the Duplicator.

IMPORTANT: Experiment by inflating several balloons until the desired size is reached. When the size of the balloon is set to your preference record the setting on the above chart for future reference.
6 The Duplicator includes two inflating nozzles. The smaller nozzle is used for inflating 5-inch balloons and the larger nozzle, pictured above, is recommended for 9-inch and larger balloons. Handtighten the nozzle to allow for ease
when changing the size of balloon. IMPORTANT: For best results, slightly roll the neck of the balloon down onto the
tip of the nozzle. This insures that the balloon is inflated from the center, not from the neck, maintaining the round
shape. Position the balloon over the nozzle and tap the inflation button with the base of your hand.
