DEPARTMENT OF MUSIC Academic Program Emory & Henry College offers a quality music curriculum in combination with a strong foundation in the liberal arts. Classes, ensembles, performances and private lessons offer musical experiences for majors and non-majors alike, and a talented and dedicated music faculty ensures personal attention to each individual student’s musical growth. The music department seeks to provide opportunities for students to grow into independent, informed and creative musicians who will serve as advocates for our art in and out of the music profession. Our graduates have gone on to great success as professional performers and teachers at all levels. Because music is an integral part of the social fabric of the E&H community, we hope that you will join us and make music a part of your E&H experience. • • • • • • • Stadium Band Brass Ensemble Trumpet Ensemble Brass Quintet Jazz Ensemble Woodwind Ensemble Guitar Ensemble Any student taking private lessons in voice, piano, organ, guitar, brass, strings, percussion or woodwinds is eligible, at the discretion of the instructor, to participate in monthly Music Degree Program Hour Performances.
