PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
The StarRez Community Relations team is responsible for and involved in many different aspects of StarRez’s
business processes. This important role works directly with our community of customers and internal teams to
ensure customer happiness and success. This role is also key to revenue generation by upselling products and
services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


Customer Satisfaction
o Employ tactical and strategic measures to ensure that assigned territories and/or accounts are
satisfied beyond their expectations
o Build and maintain trusted executive relationships with customers
o Regular customer calls and periodic on-site visits to maintain trusted executive relationships
o Identify possible items of concern and serve as an escalation point
o Build sufficient product knowledge to perform assigned task efficiently; involve Community
Account Managers, Community Relations Team Lead and subject matter experts when additional
product knowledge is required
o Provide internal support for Project Managers and consultants
o Ensure proper and timely resolutions for all customer concerns

o Identify and cultivate upsell opportunities and support company marketing and sales initiatives

Perform on-site and remote product and services demonstrations to include national and
international trade shows
Develop prototype solutions tailored to customer needs; review and scope customizations
Licensing, invoicing, and credit collection inquiries for assigned customer accounts
RFP/RFI analysis and responses; contract negotiations; addendum preparation and mana gement
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES








Excellent and professional communication skills, work ethic, self-management, dedication, team work,
and problem-solving techniques
Flexibility and time management needed to work with customers in different time zones to include
international customers
Able to execute productivity and focus in a fast-paced work environment
Superior time management skills utilizing internal tools and procedures
Bachelor’s degree
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite of products
Experience using CRM and sales management systems
Higher education housing experience such as Associate or Assistant Director of Housing, Residential Life,
Housing Operations Manager, Conference Services Director, Residential Services Technology Support
Specialist, etc.



TRAVEL
 Domestic and international travel will be required of this role; approximately 50%
