What is CIRCE?

CIRCE is a private Foundation, created in 1993 by the University of
Zaragoza, the Regional Government of Aragón and the Endesa
Group.

Currently, the trustee of CIRCE Foundation is integrated by:

Since 2001, CIRCE is acknowledged as Centre of Technological
Innovation.

In 2009 the University of Zaragoza -CIRCE
joint University Research Institute
was constituted.
What is CIRCE?
Mission:
To drive forward improvements in energy
efficiency and to spread the use of renewable
energy by means of the development of
R+D+i activities and training actions that
respond to the needs of national and
international enterprises, thereby contributing
to sustainable development.
What is CIRCE?
Goals:
1. To improve competitiveness of companies
by means of the improvement of their
energy processes.
2. To develop and apply new technologies
that improve energy efficiency and facilitate
the diffusion of renewable energy.
3. To develop internationally acclaimed
training programmes on energy.
4. To encourage and promote the
improvement of energy efficiency and the
use of renewable energy in society through
information and ongoing training
