Chapter 35 Dependent Benefits
1) Transcripts from all post-secondary education.
2) Form 22-5495 if benefits used before.

You may only receive Montgomery GI Bill / Post 9-11 GI Bill Benefits for the number of schedule hours in your program.
If your cumulative progress drops below 70% for two consecutive months, your benefits will be terminated. You will be notified.
This standard is the minimum standard allowed by the Utah State Approving Agency.
If your monthly attendance drops below 80% for two consecutive months, your benefits will be terminated. You will be notified.

Processing of New GI Bill claims may take from four to six weeks. All processing is handled in Muskogee, OK.
All schedule changes that result in a change of hours must be reported to the Veterans Specialist Office. This includes Leaves of Absence. Failure to
do so may result in an overpayment.
You must notify the OWATC Veterans Specialist Office when you decide to withdraw or complete your program.
When reporting withdrawals to the Veterans Specialist Office, report your last day of attendance. Failure to do so many result in an overpayment.
Credit for previous training forms and transcripts must be accounted for. All prior post-secondary transcripts must be submitted and reviewed.

You must contact the VA at the end of each month to certify your attendance.

that date, my benefits will still end.
