Detectives & Lowlifes
March sees a police recruitment drive as The Beat adds
Drew Falstaff, a Beat Detective and informant ‘King Tut
Tuttle’ to their ranks as they attempt to foil underworld
boss ‘The Duchess’. Ernst Veingart has breathed life into
these characters who are available at £3.50 each or
£12 for the four.
Starter Sets
We add a further
villainous collection
this month with the

Starter Set. The box
includes 11 models:
a commander, six
troopers, mutaints,
heavy trooper and
security robot – all for
a bargain £25.
Expect more boxed sets to appear in the web store
(and hopefully your local retailers) in these natty DVD
packaging soon including Future Freedom Fighters,
Argonauts and United Radionics.
Dr Mao & the Mannequin
Another two S.H.I.V.A. Co-Stars from Andrew May are
now available. The diminutive demonic genius of Dr
Mao and his sinister Plaston creation the Mannequin
are £3.50 each or £6.50 for the pair.

April's three Vortex Adventurers and new Temporal Traveller
Coming Soon
April sees three vortex adventurers; Ian Mountain has
sculpted the war torn Professor Kane and Marwood .
We also have scientific advisor Tucker Newman – a
natty dresser in Crombie jacket and Dr Marten boots.
Plus we have Ms Freeman, a liberated young medic
from the near future who will be available singly and
combined in a new pack with two other temporal
travellers – Ms Temple and Group Captain Jim.
We've also got a new weapons sprue with a shotgun,
kalashnikov, luger and a schmeisser.
May will see us completing off the S.H.I.V.A. cast with
Köhner and two Daughters of SHIVA and we're also
working on a multi-purpose resin transit van useful for
the Beat or criminal casts.

Salute 2014
Over 5000 wargamers are expected to descend upon
London ExCel centre on Saturday 12th April and Team
Crooked will be there to try and sate them with our
lovely toys and games. As well as our usual trading
space (TB08) we will have four games on offer (GB07):

and scheduled for release in April. The 54 page
