This Zion Canyon Song Cycle, celebrating the history and contemporary life of Zion National
Park and its neighboring communities, was commissioned by the American Composers Forum,
and recorded with the support of the Zion Natural History Association and the Utah Arts
Council. It was a signature project of Zion National Park's 2009 Centennial, "A Century of
Sanctuary."
The CD is a companion to our Red Rock Rondo DVD, a musical documentary film that was
recorded and filmed LIVE in and around Zion National Park.
