The STPS measures and records the temperature, the conductivity (the salinity is calculated) and the pressure.
There are 3 versions in various depth ranges.
STPS xxx-SI: Station version (for stationary measurements), Inductive communication (via an Inductive Data Pencil).
STPS xxx-PI: Profil version (reduced temperature sensor response time, for dynamic measurements), Inductive
communication.
STPS xxx-PR: Profil version, Radio communication (via a Radio Data Pencil or a Concentrator).
This version has been developed in cooperation with Ifremer.
xxx: depth range 10m, 30m, 100m or 300m.
The STPS can be equiped with a local chlorination system to protect the sensors against biofouling.
Easy to use
-its transmission data interface (inductive or radio) allows dialog with a PC in hardness environment,
using an inductive or radio (around 10m range) Data Pencil interface,
-a friendly software is run on PC to program, collect and display data.
Strongly built
-no external connector,
-sensors easy to maintain thanks to the protection unscrewing,
-dialog with STPS is possible under water (inductive version),
-lithium battery offering several years life.

-water quality monitoring in oyster zones,
-salinity measurements for authentification of hydrodynamical models...
