Pez Candy, Inc.
Pez Candy, Inc. has introduced “Disney’s Winnie the
Pooh” Pez Dispenser assortment. This assortment
includes four Disney characters: Winnie, Tigger,
Eeyore and Piglet.
A poly package (pack:
12/24 and 1/144) contains one dispenser and
two rolls of Pez candy
refills. A blister package
(pack: 12/6) contains one dispenser and three rolls of Pez
candy refills.
A floor display shipper (pack: 1/144) includes 112
poly packages and 32 six-pack Pez candy refills. A counter
display (pack: 12/24) contains 24 poly packages per box
with 12 boxes per case. A blister pack assortment (pack:
12/6) includes six blisters per box, 12 boxes per case.
Pez recently introduced
four characters of a series,
Fuzzy Friends. The characters are bears made of
colorful, fuzzy materials.
Each dispenses Pez candy
and comes with a backpack clip.
A window box (pack: 4/12, 1/36 and 1/72) contains
one dispenser and two rolls of Pez candy refills. A floor display shipper (pack: 1/72) includes 72 window boxes. A
powerwing (pack: 1/26) contains 36 window boxes, and a
counter display (pack: 4/12) includes 12 window boxes.

Harmony Foods, Inc.
Harmony Foods has contracted with NFL player Jerry
Rice, of the Oakland Raiders, to produce Jerry Rice’s
Playmakers, vitamin-fortified, fruit flavored gummies
shaped like footballs, baseballs, basketballs, hockey pucks
and soccer balls. Regional packaging of the gummies
features local NFL, MLB, NHL and NCAA teams.
A percentage of profits from Jerry Rice’s Playmakers
are donated to women’s cancer research and Jerry Rice’s
foundation, which supports the March of Dimes and
Boys Clubs.

Asher’s Chocolates announces an addition to its
sugarfree bar line, a Sugar
Free Pecan Caramel Bar.
The bar is similar to Asher’s
sugar free pecan caramel
patties. It is packaged in a
foil wrapper.
The bars are shipped in lots of 20 in a counter top display. All of Asher’s sugar free bars have been redesigned
for shelf appeal.

Ford Gum & Machine Company
Ford Gum & Machine has added two gumball machines
to its lineup of Carousel gumball machines.
The Jukebox Gumball machine,
over 9″ tall, has a black cast aluminum
body with a dome shaped top to make
it look like a 1950s jukebox.
The Topper Gumball Machine, over
10″ inches tall, has a
square red cast aluminum body with a
glass square top that
holds the gumballs.
A coin mechanism on each machine
accepts pennies, nickels, dimes or
quarters or can be adjusted for free dispensing. Both the Jukebox and Topper
are packed six displays per case. Gumballs are not included. Carousel gumballs refills are available for all model
machines in 18 oz stand-up bags, 53 oz
jars and 62 oz boxes.
The recently introduced 18 oz
stand-up Gumball Refill Bag, with a
resealable zipper and a window for
product visibility, is filled with
Carousel gumballs in assorted colors
and flavors.
