another year of faith formation. You can do so by
simply filling out the form on our parish website:
www.sfdsnyc.org and sending the registration fee
into the office or paying on line through Parish
pay. We want to make sure we have room for all
our students, which is why RE Registering is so
important.
If you are A NEW FAMILY IN THE PARISH
and wish to register for the first time. Please feel
free to use the same form on line, and then make
an appointment to meet Jayne Porcelli to go over
the particulars of how our parish program is conducted. A baptism certificate is required along with
the registration fee.
Parish pay is an alternative means of fulfilling your stewardship commitment to St. Francis
that benefits both you and the parish.
Instead of weekly and special collection envelopes, the program collects your contribution amount
from your checking, savings or credit account on the
date and frequency your specify. The funds you designate are deducted from your account and directly credited to St. Francis. No more checks to write and no
more fumbling for cash.
Enrollment is easy, friendly, secure and most
of all there is no cost to you for using Parish Pay.
Benefits To You
You don’t have to worry about bringing your envelope
and checkbook to Mass every week.
You can provide regular ongoing support to St. Francis
even if you are away or unable to attend Mass.
You can easily adjust the amount of your contribution
anytime via the secured website.
You receive email reminders in advance of your
scheduled contributions.
Are you Thinking about Becoming Catholic?
You receive a year-end summary of your donations for
tax purposes.
We have a process for welcoming and initiating folks
into our Catholic Faith called “The Rite of Christian
Initiation for Adults” We meet weekly on Monday evenings at 7pm to discuss topics of faith and answer your
questions. It is designed to be a gradual process of formation. If you’d like more information please talk with
Fr Kelly or Jayne Porcelli. WE WILL NOT BE MEETING IN AUGUST, to allow time for all to enjoy a bit of
vacation. Our Monday evenings will begin again right
after Labor Day on Monday September 12. See you
then!
Benefits To St. Francis Church
It provides a more predictable stream of income that
will help church do a better job of forecasting and

DISCIPLINA

Vamos a compartir nuestra alegría
. . para que el Señor . . . los haga
idóneos cooperadores de la verdad.

WORTHY TEACHERS
All who undertake to teach must be endowed with
deep love, the greatest patience, and, most of all, profound humility. The Lord will find them worthy to become fellow workers with him in the cause of truth.

TEMPTATION
The average number of times that people say “no”
to temptation is about once, weakly.
