Dear Students and Parents,

will allow you to become a geologist and investigate landforms around the world.
Goal:
The students will:
 Select a landform of their choice to study.
 Research a famous landform and include a picture and map of the exact location
of the landform along with the display. (Ex: landform choice: peninsula –
“famous" landform - Florida Peninsula)
 Create a diorama of the landform of their choice.
Skills to Achieve:
Students will be able to define different landforms and their unique traits as well as
understand how geography influences the way we live. Students will also gain research skills.
Diorama Display information:
 Use one pizza box for display.
 Create a model of the landform using clay, playdough, paper, or any other materials.
 Decorate landform in a creative way.
I have read and understand the requirements associated with this project. I understand that in order for my
child to acquire the skills and knowledge set forth they must fully participate in this project. Furthermore, I
understand that this project is due November 16, 2015. Failure to turn the project in on the expected date
