Within the framework of the “16th Week of the Italian Language in the World”
Meet the Italian writer Francesca Melandri
who will present her novel EVA SLEEPS .
Following Eva’s search for her identity, the reader undertakes a
fascinating journey through the history of the small region of South
Tyrol, annexed to Italy after WW1, and its cultural and political
turmoil.
The talk will be in Italian and English.

viaggio attraverso la storia dell’Alto Adige, annesso all’Italia dopo la
fine della prima guerra mondiale, e il suo tormentato sviluppo
politico e culturale.
