Introduction
This is the most recent update to the Care Control Mobile System.
Major Changes
•
Support for the Document Library
If you have upgraded your document library, staff can now access these documents from the
Tablet devices. Access via the Staff menu and the resident Care Plans.
•
Support for Business Centres
Business Centre configuration is now relfected in the Tablet devices so staff will only
residents within that Business Centre.
•
Catheter Output
This new recording area is now available via Care Control Mobile.
•
Pictures
Lots more support for photographs.
Document Library
The most recent update to Care Control moved the Document Library into the Cloud. This now
enables these documents to be accessed via the Tablet device.
To access the Document Library do the following: •

Sign In to Care Control
Frome the Home Menu select Stuff for Staff:-

You will now see a new option – Document Library: -
You will note that the Imported Documents are listed on the top right. These are configured within
your System Settings via Care Control Windows.

Select Document Library

From this screen you can search for documents or View them by clicking on the View Icon.

We have also added the Document Library option to the residents Care Plan.
Improved Support for Pictures
With this update there is more support for Pictures. Some of the changes: -
Touch Pictures
If you see a picture displayed in the Handover or on a Resident Care Plan Notes you can now touch
the picture and a larger image will appear.
Handover Picture Gallery
If you select the Handover Option you now have a Picture Gallery icon on the right hand side: -
Touch this icon and you will then see the Handover in picture form, with the most recent pictures for
each resident: -

Touching on each picture will display a larger image screen: -
You can then touch the arrow to the right to cycle through the pictures.

Activity Pictures
With this update you can now categorised pictures into Activity Pictures and Other Pictures. This
categorisation is completed via two update screens: Activity Screen
The Activity Screen has changed. You can now upload two pictures when you record your activities:

As on other screens, you simply touch the Camera icon and you will be asked if you want to take a
picture or load a picture. You do not need to load a picture if you do not have any, however the
pictures you load the better evidence you will have.
We recommend that you take pictures first using your IPAD, then load the pictures later. This allows
you to take more pictures and select the best ones.
All pictures loaded via this screen will be marked as an Activity Picture.
Upload Picture Screen
This is a new screen for this release that allows you to upload up to 10 pictures. You access this
screen view the Record Care Plan Information option: -

Select this option to see this new screen: -
This screen allows you to load up to 10 pictures. There are also some features within this form that
will speed up any picture loading.

Important: - Only the sections which have a picture will be loaded.
You have 10 sections. For each section you can select multiple residents, enter a comment, select an
activity or a quick note and take / load a picture.
Each section has a Copy icon: -
When touched, this icon displays three options: Copy Once Below
This will copy the selected residents, activity flag and notes from the current section to the section
below.
Copy All Below
This will copy the selected residents, activity flag and notes from the current section to all sections
below.
Copy All Sections
This will copy the selected residents, activity flag and notes from the current section to all other
sections on the form.
The copy function does not copy pictures, but does copy Activity Flags, Selected Residents and
Comments.
Real Example
• One of your residents has a birthday.
• You take several pictures with your IPAD of the party.
• Using this form you select the resident in section 1, mark the Activity flag and enter a
comment: -

You can then select the copy icon.

Select Copy All Below
•
You will see now that each section below the same resident, Activity Flag and comment
have been copied.
•
Now you can load your pictures.
•
Once you are happy select Save Pictures.
