CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT / TERMS AND CONDITIONS
In accepting the Kleenmaid washing machine LW8014 described in the related sales order for a 14 day
free trial I, the customer, hereby acknowledge and agree as follows:
1.
The 14 day trial period commences on the date the washing machine is delivered and installed at the
address stated on the sales order and ends fourteen calendar days after that date.
2.
I will uninstall and remove my old washing machine, if any, to ensure that the area is available with
proper connections to allow the new washing machine to be installed by a Kleenmaid representative.
3.
Delivery charges will apply where the delivery address is more than 20km from the nearest Kleenmaid
point of sale.
4.
If I do not want to buy the washing machine at the end of the trial period, I will give written notice to
Kleenmaid quoting my name and sales order reference by sending an email to [email protected]
before the end of the trial period.
5.
If I do not buy the washing machine supplied under this 14 day free trial I acknowledge I will not be
eligible for a 14 day free trial on another washing machine nor will I be eligible to receive any other
promotional offer on another Kleenmaid LW8014 washing machine.
6.
If I do not give written notice to Kleenmaid before the end of the trial period then I authorise Kleenmaid
to charge the purchase price of the washing machine to my credit card. If Kleenmaid is unable to
charge my credit card for any reason I acknowledge that Kleenmaid may take action to repossess the
washing machine.
7.
Ownership of the washing machine will at all times remain with Kleenmaid until I have paid for it in full.
8.
During the trial period, or until Kleenmaid has collected the washing machine, I will not damage,
destroy or interfere with the washing machine; I will not use the washing machine for any purpose
other than that for which it is intended; and I will not remove it from the address to which it has been
delivered and installed. If the washing machine is damaged prior to being collected, other than through
normal wear and tear, I will be responsible for the cost of any repairs and authorise Kleenmaid to
charge the cost of such repairs to my credit card.
9.
I authorise Kleenmaid’s representative to photograph the area where the washing machine is to be
installed prior to and after installation and, where applicable, prior to and after de-installation.
10. If I do not want to buy the washing machine and give notice to Kleenmaid before the end of the trial
period, they will contact me to arrange a date and time for its collection from my premises. Kleenmaid
or its representative will be entitled to enter my premises without being guilty of any form of trespass in
order to disconnect and collect the washing machine.
11. If Kleenmaid is unable to collect the washing machine due to a failure to gain access to my premises
at the pre-arranged date and time then I will be responsible for the additional expenses incurred by
Kleenmaid on each occasion they arrange a fresh appointment to collect it. I authorise Kleenmaid to
charge the amount of all such expenses to my credit card.
12. If Kleenmaid is unable to collect the washing machine after making all reasonable efforts I authorise
Kleenmaid to charge the price of the washing machine to my credit card.
13. I authorise Kleenmaid to pre-authorise the price of the washing machine to my credit card before
delivery and to maintain such pre-authorisation until final payment is made. If the pre-authorisation is
declined Kleenmaid will not deliver the washing machine until a valid credit card is provided.
14. Kleenmaid reserves the right to not provide a washing machine on a 14 day trial period to any person
and for any reason in its sole discretion.
This acknowledgement is subject to any law or statutory provision which cannot be excluded including but not limited to
the Australian Consumer Law, the Sale of Goods Act and any compulsory consumer rights or guarantees. Kleenmaid
means Compass Capital Services Pty Ltd ABN 96 138 214 525 trading as Kleenmaid.
