No bags are allowed inside the venue, so make sure to check it with our staff. MONDAY SEPTEMBER 5TH Breaking Pandora’s Box Location: Raven’s Nest | 9:00am – 10:00am The Orientation Coordinators will divide you all into small groups where you will play interactive team icebreaker games! Let’s see what Pandora’s Box reveals about our new Olympians! Canal Games Location: Hartwell Locks | 11:30am – 5:00pm Get ready for an action packed day of friendly competition and larger than life activities including inflatables, a dunk tank, a slip and slide, and much more. Join us on the Canal for a pizza lunch, a chance to win the Spirit Award and tons of free swag! Don’t Forget: we will be taking a class of 2020 photo before the games begin, so in addition to bringing your A-game, make sure to bring your smiles! Between finding out where your classes are, meeting your Fall Orientation group and learning all about university life, things can get a little busy! Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Academic Orientation Day is designed to make sure that you know all the who’s, where’s and what’s of your Faculty and Department here at Carleton. The day includes a facultyspecific t-shirt, an informative departmental orientation session, and a free lunch! To add to all of this, you’ll have the opportunity to meet your classmates and professors and find our more about your degree. He speaks with his brother Craig at Me to We events where he discusses the power of youth coming together to change the world. Movie under the Stars Location: Olivers | 9:00pm – 12:00am Headphone Disco are the inventors of the ‘silent dance party’ and have been touring the world! The DJs spin 2 different styles of music side by side over 2 different wireless channels. You can select which DJ you want to listen to using the switch on the headphones and then dance along to the music of your choice! On top of all that, the theme of the party is glow in the dark. We got your black light and your glow sticks so make sure to show-off your white! While you are jamming to some amazing artists, we will also be announcing the Fall Orientation Spirit Awards to finish off this jam-packed, competitive and fun week! SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 10TH CUSA & CAB PRESENT: Mont Cascades Waterpark Location: Meet outside Prescott House on Library Road | 9:45am – 4:00pm Grab your bathing suit and your favourite pair of shades for an exclusive day at Mont Cascades Waterpark! If you have purchased a ticket for Mont Cascades, you should have received an admission ticket and bracelet at registration. Shuttle Buses will be leaving from Prescott House on Library Road starting at 9:45am, with last call to Mont Cascades at 2:00pm, so students can come and go as they please. There will be a bag check, and you will need your ticket and admission bracelet to get on the bus. Also, students are encouraged to pack a lunch or buy food onsite.
