UNDERSTANDING THE INVESTMENT
The total amount of investment required to start a Cafe Route 66 Franchise can vary widely,
but we will help you get a more accurate estimate based on our experience. Depending on
your situation and motivation, the process from signing the Franchise Agreement to Grand
Opening can take anywhere from 3 months or more.

FINANCING
The total amount of investment, without the purchase of real estate can run a broad range,
starting from at least €25,000 for a shop-in-shop unit to more than €95,000 for a large
coffee house.
EVALUATING INCOME POTENTIAL
The amount of profit or loss is based on a wide range of factors including sales, costs, and
the franchisee’s ability to manage business operations. Cafe Route 66 does not make any

Q: What is Cafe Route 66?
A: Cafe Route 66 is leading Cafe American Style concept focused on speed, quality, and
convenience. We serve exceptional specialty espresso based hot, cold and crushed ice
drinks; all served in a casual and friendly atmosphere. Our motto is: Taste the Adventure®.
Q: How much does it cost to open a Cafe Route 66?
A: It depends on a variety of factors such as location and equipment, but is typically €25,000
- €95,000; See the table at the end of this section for a more detailed breakout of the Initial
Investment.
Q: What are the Franchise Fees associated with owning a Cafe Route 66?
A: The initial franchise fee to open a Cafe Route 66 is €9-12,000. Amongst other services it
includes site selection and approval services, training, store design and development, etc…
There is NO royalty fee on sales.
Q: Is it necessary to have coffee experience to own a Cafe Route 66?
A: Cafe Route 66 provides a full training program and operating systems to each franchisee,
so previous food or coffee experience is not required. Of course, any prior business
experience is very helpful.
