BlueBird’s Delta blades are the heart of the P18 Seeder. Made of highly durable 12-gauge austempered steel, BlueBird blades have a unique angled position and beveled edge that
cuts slits in the ground, 2˝ apart. A cam dial selector controls the rate at which
seeds are deposited into the soil. Seeding hole sizes accommodate a broad
range of grass seed varieties and variable rates of application. A grounddriven agitator balances seed distribution across an 18˝ wide pattern.
A neoprene flap at the rear of the machine smoothes the freshly seeded
soil to help optimize conditions for good germination.

P18 Seeder is compact in size, thanks to the unique seed hopper that fits snugly at the rear of
the seeder deck, making it easier to maneuver and operate. The convenient position of the seed
hopper makes filling a snap, and its 30 lbs.-plus capacity helps you cover large areas between
refills. With a glance through the seed hopper’s Lexan window, the operator can quickly check
the amount of seed remaining.

Lawns that have thinning or bare patches can be restored by
overseeding. For best results, we recommend overseeding in
two applications, with the second application made at a 45-degree
angle to the first. You’ll notice a distinct crosshatch pattern in the
effected soil as the BlueBird’s Delta reel blades virtually “plow”
precisely aligned rows of seeds into the turf beneath topsoil.
