certain Public Works and Services; and
for purposes connected therewith. [Assented

HEREAS the Australian Loan Council at its ]
seventy-ninth meeting held on the fourth and
fifth days of June, one thousand nine hundred and
fifty-eight,
fifty-eight,
d e c i d e d in p u r s u a n c e of Clause 3 (9) of
P a r t I of t h e A g r e e m e n t set o u t in t h e schedule t o t h e
F i n a n c i a l A g r e e m e n t A c t , 1 9 4 4 , t h a t t h e a m o u n t t o be
b o r r o w e d for t h e l o a n p r o g r a m m e s of t h e C o m m o n ­
w e a l t h a n d t h e S t a t e s for housing a n d State works for
t h e financial y e a r e n d i n g o n t h e t h i r t i e t h d a y of J u n e ,
one t h o u s a n d nine h u n d r e d a n d fifty-nine, shall b e t w o
h u n d r e d a n d t e n million p o u n d s , a n d b y u n a n i m o u s
decision allocated a n a m o u n t of fifty-five million a n d
ninety t h o u s a n d p o u n d s t o t h e S t a t e of N e w S o u t h
W a l e s , B E it e n a c t e d therefore b y t h e Q u e e n ' s Most
E x c e l l e n t Majesty, b y a n d w i t h t h e a d v i c e a n d c o n s e n t
of t h e Legislative Council a n d Legislative A s s e m b l y
of N e w S o u t h W a l e s in P a r l i a m e n t a s s e m b l e d , a n d
b y t h e a u t h o r i t y of t h e s a m e as follows :—
