Frying pans and glass lids become very hot. Only touch the frying pans and lids by the handle or knob. Use oven gloves. Take care when handling hot oil or fat. Smother ignited oil with a towel or a blanket. NEVER pour water over hot oil. Allow to cool before transporting! Allow the frying pans and the lids to completely cool before cleaning. Do not pour cold water over it to cool it down – risk of burns! Please note that after using on top of the hob, in the dishwasher and particularly in the oven, the handle adapter will be very hot! Risk of burning! Please make sure you use trivets when putting down your frying pans – otherwise you may damage the surface on which they are placed. Please note that the fleece inserts are only intended to be used for the purpose of secure storage and may not be used as trivets! Cerafit Mont Blanc cookware may become discoloured if used at very high temperatures. This does not affect the function nor does it represent a health hazard. Guarantee Excluded from the guarantee are all damages and defects caused by improper use, handling, or as the results of repairs carried out by the user themselves. This also applies to normal wear and tear. No liability can be assumed for improper use. We retain the right to change products and packaging at any time as part of our continuous development. 3 Assembly Before you can use your Cerafit Mont Blanc Frying Pans for the first time, you must attach the handles of the frying pans and the knobs of the glass lid. Handle assembly information: Before you can attach the handle, first remove the protective cover from the metal sleeve. To avoid the possibility of any damage, pull the protective cover back onto the metal sleeve after it has fully cooled. Please note that the protective cover must be removed every time before use, and is therefore not suitable for use in the oven. Knob assembly information: The knobs have especially long screws that are intended only to be used for this assembly. Non-compliance could mean that correct assembly is impossible. Follow the instructions below: Attaching the handles of the Cerafit Mont Blanc Frying Pans: Slider Handle Aapter Metal sleeve with flame guard For your information: To attach the detachable handle, press the slider towards you (away from the pan); hold the handle at the same angle as the handle adapter and guide the handle over it. When the top edges are flush, press the handle lightly downwards and let go of the slider – the handle is now attached. To detach, carry out the steps in the opposite order. Caution! If the metal sleeve or the handle adapter becomes loose, tighten the screw located on the inside with light pressure. Do not use excessive force to tighten. The thread may be damaged if screws have been screwed in using excessive force. Frying pans with loose handles must not be used – risk of injuries! 4 Material list for lid assembly Glass lid Knob Silicon disc underlay Metal cover Srew Glass Lid (Ø 28 cm) 1x 1x 1x 1 x 18 mm Glass Lid (Ø 24 cm) 1x 1x 1x 1 x 18 mm Lid assembly Knob Silicon disc underlay Metal cover 5 The Cerafit Mont Blanc Frying Pans are suitable for all types of stoves: Operating instructions The detachable handles can be removed with just one click – for using in the oven or for space-saving storage in the cupboard for example. The fleece inserts not only let you store your frying pans in a space-saving way but they also protect them during storage. For energy-saving cooking, we recommend you select a ring on your hob that corresponds to the size of your frying pan. Ensure that the frying pans are correctly positioned on the hob as otherwise the gas flame could damage the handle/handles. Thanks to the Cerafit Mont Blanc ceramic coating with non-stick properties, you can cook/fry with almost no oil or fat. Due to the solid encapsulated bottom, the frying pans remain hot for several minutes even after the hob has been switched off. Avoid overheating. Do not use any metal sharp or pointed objects in the frying pans! Do not pour any cold liquids into the hot, empty frying pans! To ensure you enjoy all the benefits of your ceramic-coated cookware for a long time, we recommend that before using the Cerafit Mont Blanc ceramic coating for the first time you rub cooking oil on the ceramic coating using a soft cloth or a serviette. Repeat this process at regular intervals to care for the Cerafit Mont Blanc ceramic coating. Avoid cooking your cookware dry to prevent damage to the cookware and the hob. Do not pull or push the frying pans over the ceramic hob in either a hot or cold condition. This could cause scratches or wear and tear to the surface of the ceramic hob. The inside coating of the Cerafit Mont Blanc Ceramic Frying Pans may become discoloured when used frequently (this is less evident for pans with a dark coating). However the discolouration does not have any effect on the frying properties of the frying pans. Your cookware may have a so-called convex hollow when cold. This is not a defect but is rather due to technical reasons and will even out when heated. A slight tarnishing of the stainless steel is completely normal and hinders the function in no way. Simply rub over with a sponge. Noncompliance with the information in these Instructions for Use can result in damage to the Cerafit Mont Blanc ceramic coating and therefore its function. For your information: As every Cerafit Mont Blanc element is unique, it may be the case that deviations in the marbling of the inner coating can be seen. This has no effect whatsoever but rather makes every individual Cerafit Mont Blanc element into something very special. 6 Care and cleaning Clean the cookware under running water before using it for the first time. Following this, oil the ceramic frying pans, heat to a high temperature and then clean afterwards. Clean the frying pans after each time they are used. Cleaning is easy and unproblematic: Allow the frying pans to cool completely and clean them as soon as possible after using. Although the frying pans can be cleaned in the dishwasher, we recommend you wash them by hand to maintain their benefits and functions in the long-term. Clean under running, warm water using a conventional dish-washing detergent and a soft cloth or soft brush. Depending on the food you are frying, they can also be wiped clean with a paper towel. Do not use a rough sponge or abrasive cleaners! As already mentioned under the section “Instructions for Use”, we recommend oiling the Cerafit Mont Blanc ceramic coating at regular intervals. For your information: After cleaning the frying pans in the dishwasher, the handle adapters may have a black discoloured layer of oxide. For this reason, we recommend wiping the handle adapter with a damp cloth. Your Genius team would like to wish you bon appétit! 7 8 BA-4214
