Cover All (Doubles Minus One)
You will need: 4 sets of digit cards (1-10), game boards, counters,

Put the digit cards in a stack facedown between both players.

Take turns drawing a card. For the number drawn, double the digit
and then subtract one. Record your thinking in the journal.
• Example: If you draw a 4…
4+4=8
8–1=7

Once you have found the answer, cover that number on your game
board.

If the number is already covered on your game board, your turn is
over and the next player goes.
5.
The first player to cover all the numbers on their board is the
winner.
