Housing
§ Housing by university: The university looks after the housing for the exchange students. They can decide between an apartment-sharing community or single apartments. The exact housing location depends on the free rooms at this time.
§ Cost: Housing costs about 220-350 EUROS per month. The students need to rent a room for at least 6 months (= one semester in Germany, from April until September). § Transportation: All housing buildings own a good bus or tram connection to the town center. The students can use these easily and for free with their student card.
22
Exchange Program University Würzburg
Housing
§ Typical student housing: “Haus Berlin” Zürnstreet 2
23

Housing
§ WIFI: Most of the housing buildings offer WIFI automatically, at others one must care himself for an internet access. In the last case, several students mostly divide an access.
§ Included utilities: Beside the full equipment of the rooms, the students also receive the following utilities for free from the chair: bed linen, pillow, coverlet, fleece coverlet, cleaning cloth, cutlery, glasses, bowls, cooking pot, plates, frying pan, dishwashing brush, spatula, cups, shopping bag, cutting board.
§ Cost: Additional costs originate with the use of the washing machines (which are available in every housing building), as well as in some cases with the internet accesses. If the students liked to have a German mobile phone number;; these are already available for around 10 Euros.
