Description
IMU-S1 is a cost effective tactical MEMS IMU designed to meet the guidance requirements of Munitions, Missiles and
UAV applications.

It can be used in lightweight avionics guidance system for munitions, tactical missiles and short range standoff weapons
as well as avionics platforms for an UAV.
It integrates MEMS rate gyroscopes and MEMS accelerometers, temperature sensors and advanced electronics including
a DSP/FPGA board housed in a compact and rigid housing.
The sophisticated compensation and navigation algorithms build in the IMU delivers excellent and yet cost effective
performance that withstands MIL standard environmental conditions.
The unit has a growth potential to host Navigation software and directly interface with external Navigation Aiding Sensors,
for example: GPS, Magnetometer, etc.
The IMU-S1 is robust and compact, having a weight of less than 375 grams and volume less than 250 cubic centimeter.
It is specifically designed with mechanical and electrical Interfaces that allow simple and easy integration with a variety
of applications and systems.
IMU-S1 is manufactured in Singapore under SMART Systems’ stringent quality control to ensure a product that is both
excellent in performance and reasonably priced.
