User Story One of the core industries in the Philippines are in line with Education. In fact, a total of 13,921 Private Education establishments were covered in the 2012 Census of Philippine Business and Industry (CPBI) conducted nationwide. Employment for the sector reached a total of 366,165. Total compensation paid by Private Education sector amounted to PHP69.6billion. The Public Education is not yet included. This application could be applicable to the industries related to education from private to public education or even people engaged in tutors. The specific targets of this application are the teachers or learning facilitators. Teachers spend an average of 5 to 6 hours of their work hours per day in a classroom facing around 30 to 50 students. As a teacher, there is a certain objective needed to be accomplished at the end of a class. The strategies, techniques and methods to be used, the scale and learning styles of the students, time and location where the lesson would be conducted and the topic itself are the things to be considered in advance in order to achieve the objectives. A teacher would find it difficult to prepare for each class he has. Remembering all his students and tracking their performance to class that are measured through quizzes, recitation and participation in group activities is also a matter that needs to be attended by teachers. It would be helpful to teachers if they can review their class, the students that they would be dealing with and prepare all the materials and of course review the course material beforehand through the use of their laptop or handheld devices at their convenience. Since there are a lot of data being handled by a single teacher every day, imagine the data that could be generated throughout the whole school year. These data could be useful to the major players in the school like the School Heads, Principal and School owner once presented in a way that would make sense to them. But of course the first consumer of these data would be the teachers. Persona Jemari Macaranas 20 years old. Learning Facilitator at APEC School. Major in MAPEH. 1 year work experience.
