Every piece of Melissa Joy Manning jewelry is handmade onshore, in our California or New York studios, by skilled
artisans using traditional, time-honored techniques.
Producing the collection domestically using classic metalsmithing techniques eliminates the heavy chemical waste and
pollution of modern high-volume processes and offsets the carbon imprint associated with importing and exporting.
Crafting each piece by hand imbues our creations with a sense of spirit and energy that cannot be replicated in mass
market production.
Product information:
• Materials used:
o Sterling silver, 14K and 18K yellow, pink, green and white gold
o Semi-precious and precious stones
o Historical artifacts and found objects
• S tones may vary in size and color. Inclusions and flaws occur naturally in many of our stones and we believe add to the
beauty of the products.
• All work is handcrafted in California and New York.
• Prices are subject to change without notice.
Order minimums:
We do enforce opening order minimums. After opening orders, there are no order minimums- unless your account becomes inactive. In which case, opening orders will be enforced.
• Domestic Brick and Mortar Wholesalers: $2,000
• Domestic Ecommerce Wholesalers: $10,000
• International Brick and Mortar Wholesalers: $5,000
• International Ecommerce Wholesalers: $10,000
Accounts must purchase a minimum of $3,000 during a calendar year to maintain active status.
• Special orders are only available for active accounts.
• Active accounts are listed on the Melissa Joy Manning website as current retailers.
Order and payment information:
• Credit card authorization form must be completed or on file prior to production.
•O
rders may be placed via email, fax, or phone. Order confirmations are sent once order is processed.
• Shipping date will be included on your confirmation. Please allow 4-8 weeks for delivery.
• Cancellations must be made in writing within 5 days of order.
•R
eturns must be authorized with an RA number, are accepted for credit only and may be subject to a restocking fee.
• Cancelled or returned checks are subject to a $25.00 surcharge.
• A finance charge of 1.5% per month will be applied to all past due accounts.
• If payment is in default, all unpaid merchandise will remain the property of Melissa Joy Manning, Inc.
• Special orders and one-of-a-kind merchandise are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
• All goods are shipped at customer’s expense via UPS.
• Melissa Joy Manning Inc. reserves the right not to sell to a retailer.
• International orders are pro-forma paid via wire transfer or credit card unless otherwise specified.

Special order information:
• Special order requests can be made via email, phone, or fax.
• We will make every effort to accommodate special orders if components are available. If we are unable to fill the order,
we will contact you within 5 days of your order placement.
• All special orders are final sale.
Suggested retail price and advertised price (MSRP & MAP):
•T
he Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price is a 2.5x markup. The Minimum Advertised Price of any product is also 2.5X
markup. The MSRP and MAP apply to all pieces in the line, and are subject to change at MJM, Inc.’s discretion; any
changes in the MSRP and MAP shall be effective upon notice by Melissa Joy Manning, Inc.
• All advertised Melissa Joy Manning Inc. product must adhere to our MAP. Though retailers may in fact sell or offer
to sell to an individual consumer at any price, should the collection be advertised or promoted at prices below the
MAP, Melissa Joy Manning Inc. reserves the right to discontinue business with any distributor who fails to market
our collection accordingly. Since the internet is an advertising medium in which our pieces are publicly marketed, all
e-commerce sites must advertise our brand at the then effective MAP.
• The retail and advertised pricing of Melissa Joy Manning products are key components of our brand strategy and ability
to compete favorably in the marketplace. Melissa Joy Manning Inc. has unilaterally adopted this MSRP and MAP which
apply to all retailers. Although retailers may adopt their own pricing strategies, Melissa Joy Manning Inc. reserves the
right to take such action as may be necessary to protect its brand and market, up to and including refusing to sell to any
retailer whose conduct we believe is inconsistent with our brand and marketing strategy.
Repair and return information:
• We stand behind the quality of our merchandise and are happy to provide repairs.
o Free repairs are addressed on a case-by-case basis.
o Elective repairs such as ring resizing, chain lengthening, damage by the customer or store involve a charge. They
are repaired at the owner’s expense plus the shipping charge.
• We do our best to accommodate repair requests, but they are only available when components are on hand.
•Should an item need to be returned for repair, please contact our Berkeley studio to receive a return authorization (RA)
number. Ship the jewelry to the Berkeley studio address below. Please clearly mark all packages with your RA number;
we are unable to accept unauthorized returns and will return these packages.
•R
eturns are processed in a timely manner and we ensure the accurate handling of your merchandise. Ship returns to:

• For elective repairs there is a $25 service charge plus the cost of additional materials and shipping.
• Half pairs of earrings are invoiced as half the price of a full pair of earrings, plus shipping.
• We do not give credit for merchandise that is returned unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to receipt.

Pricing and guidelines for ring resizing are as follows:
• Sizing Down:
o MR’s cannot be sized down and need to be reordered.
o Most of our rings can be sized down to any size. Please verify with style #.
o $25 charge for silver, $30 charge for gold
• Sizing Up:
o We can size some rings up, depending on the style. Please send to us with an authorized RA number and we will determine costs upon receipt of the item.
Care instructions:
• S terling silver jewelry will tarnish through time and wear. To polish, use soft polishing cloth and gently rub cloth to
jewelry.
Merchandising:
• P ieces should be merchandised as a group and we recommend a case line collection presentation. Many different
stones and metals are used in the collection, so use our line sheets or your invoice as a sales tool to identify product
components. For additional merchandising recommendations or assistance with stones or metals, please contact the Sales
and Marketing office at [email protected].
Website sales policy:
• All items sold online must be advertised at the Minimum Advertised Price (MAP), unless otherwise approved by Melissa
Joy Manning Inc. in advance.
• To sell Melissa Joy Manning products online, retailer must obtain prior approval and promote collection at MAP. If
pricing is displayed any strike-through or other alteration of the MAP is prohibited.
• Accounts must purchase a minimum of $10,000 to obtain new online distribution and must purchase a minimum of
$15,000 during a calendar year to maintain active status as an online retailer. Sales to retailers with retail store locations
plus online sales will be viewed on a combined basis.
•B
undling, or including a free or discounted product (whether made by Melissa Joy Manning Inc. or another
manufacturer) with an Melissa Joy Manning Inc. product covered by this MAP policy would violate the policy and is not
permitted.
• All promotions must be pre-approved by Melissa Joy Manning Inc. in advance

elissa Joy Manning Inc. reserves the right to stop selling to online retailers who are not representing the line
appropriately or advertising below MAP.
•M
elissa Joy Manning Inc. does not provide product images for use in online stores. Retailers must photograph their own
images to remain consistent with overall look and feel of their website. The use of any Melissa Joy Manning images is
prohibited, unless otherwise approved. Melissa Joy Manning logo is available for retailer use on approved websites.
• A direct link from www.melissajoymanning.com to retailer’s website is provided with a $25,000 annual purchase
agreement. This featured link is only available to retailer websites adhering to the above policies, including MAP. Melissa
Joy Manning Inc. reserves the right to change the site design layout which may impact the placement of the featured
links.

Exclusivity policy:
• In order to be considered for exclusivity, accounts must order a minimum of $3,000 per quarter.
• There is no exclusivity for the Metal collection.
Trunk Show policy:
• Trunks shows are approved on a case by case basis.
