FAQs
WHAT TRAINING DO WE NEED TO DO?
WHAT TIME DOES IT FINISH?
As a rough guide we suggest everyone should
be able to jog 5km non-stop. It’s a long day
so building up your stamina by getting out
jogging is a good idea.
Dinner and awards will be finished by 21:00,
however the after party will continue until
midnight. Accommodation is available – get in
touch for more info at [email protected]
WHAT KIT DO WE NEED?
WHY ARE THERE ONLY 50 TEAM
PLACES?
Your team will need two bikes (bike hire is
available), bike lights, four head torches,
suitable active footwear and a change of
clothes – see the website for the full list.
I’M NOT SURE WE CAN RAISE THE
FUNDRAISING PLEDGE?
The minimum pledge is just £250 per person
and there are lots of fun things you can do
aside from asking for sponsorship. You could
organise a 5-a-side tournament, host a party or
bake something and sell it to your colleagues.
We’ll also be keeping you up-to-date with
inspiration and advice from other teams. Last
year the average raised was £1,600!
The Emergency Challenge is all about the
experience. From the briefings to the dinner
and awards we need to ensure it’s of the
highest quality. If you’re keen, sign up soon to
secure your place.
HOW DO I FIND A TEAM?
Most teams are made up of friends, family and
colleagues. If you’re having difficulty getting a
