Ref: On-Line Meal Ordering Supplier
BlueRunner are currently the on-line meal ordering provider and over the last few months you may have experienced issues in
regards to menus being out of sync to the advertised dates, parents having problems with having to re-register their child’s
details and selecting the correct classes, incorrect data and menu choices causing incorrect meals being supplied, being some
of the main issues.
Chartwells constantly monitor all suppliers to ensure that best practice, best value and performance are delivered by all
suppliers at all times.
Chartwells were aware of all the issues / problems and have been working closely with BlueRunner to resolve the problems
and to ensure that the system works correctly in all ways and is user friendly for parents and schools, causing the minimum
amount of inconvenience / time to all parties.
Chartwells have taken the decision to terminate the contract with BlueRunner to ensure we continue to provide the best food
and service possible to our schools.
BlueRunner will operate the on-line ordering system up to February half term 2017 when the on-line ordering system will be
moved to Parent Pay.
Chartwells are really pleased to announce the partnership with Parent Pay and firmly believe that this is a positive step to
ensure a better experience for all parents and schools using the system.
The Area Manager will be in contact with school shortly to explain the roll-out of Parent Pay and the various options currently
available to ensure that the best possible ordering system is in place until Parent Pay take over.
May we take this opportunity to firstly apologise if you or your school have experienced any issues / problems with your
ordering system and secondly to assure you that changing to Parent Pay will benefit both the school and the parents.
