ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival
Upon arriving in Lima, you will be picked up and taken to your hotel.
Day 2: Lima City Tour: Colonial and Contemporary Lima
The tour begins with a visit to historic downtown Lima, also known as “the City of
the Kings”. Stops include the Main Square of Lima, upon which sits the Government
Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace, and the City Hall; next on the
itinerary is a visit to the Santo Domingo Convent. Once finished there, it’s off to the
modern district of San Isidro where on the itinerary is a tour of Huaca Huallamarca,
a Pre-Incan adobe pyramid; afterwards, you will head to Miraflores, a district filled
with tourist attractions, and stop off at the “Parque del Amor” (a sort of lover’s lane)
and its incredible view of the Pacific Ocean.
Puno and Lake Titicaca, birthplace of traditions – Peru
ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival
You will arrive in the city of Juliaca and then be driven to the city of Puno. Along the
way, you will stop 34 km north of Puno at the Sillustani archeological site, famous
for its "chullpas", circular stone burial towers. They are 12 meters high and were
used by the Collas and the Incas. The site is located on the shores of Lake Umayo,
the scenery of which only intensifies the beauty of this mystical, lovely place.
Day 2: Lake Titicaca - Uros floating islands and Taquile Island
Get ready for a full day excursion on Lake Titicaca, world's highest navigable lake.
First, you will sail to the floating Uros Islands. The Uros people are known as the
"People of the Lake", and the islands were built out of reeds that grow about the
lake called totora. They also built their houses using the same construction material.
Following this unusual destination, you venture off to Taquile Island, where you will
experience the islanders' customs and traditions, their colorful outfits that follow the
designs of their ancestors, and the local art.
* Upon request, it is possible to extend the excursion to include nearby islands, like
Amantani and to stay at one of the houses of an islander who offers this service.
Day 3: Departure
At the scheduled time, you will be taken to the airport for your flight to your next
destination.
Mysteries of the Nazca Lines and the Paracas National
Reserve - Peru
ITINERARY
Day 1: NazcaDepart for Ica – Nazca Lines overflight
You will be taken to the bus station where you will board your bus to
Paracas(a trip of roughly 4 hours). When you reach the city, you will be driven to the
local airport of Pisco(45 minutes away) for your flight over the incredible Nazca Lines,
drawn on the pampas of the same name. You will see several figures of stylized
plants and animals drawn in an enormous labyrinth of straight lines, trapezoids,
triangles, and spirals scattered about the desert floor that has remained preserved
for about 2000 years. After the overflight, you will have the rest of the day to yourself
to. Accomodations for the night in Paracas.
Day 2: Paracas- Ballestas Islands - Return to Lima
You will set out early in the morning for the Paracas Bay. There, you board a
motorboat and take a roughly two hour ride to the Ballestas Islands, located off the
coast from the Paracas National Reserve, the largest natural sanctuary on the
Peruvian coast. These two beautiful islands are home to thousands of migratory
birds that share their habitat with colonies of bellowing sea lions. Along the way to
the island, you will see a mysterious design, called the Candelabra, drawn on a side
of a sand dune. When the time is right, you will return to Lima by bus and, once
there, be transferred to your hotel.
A must see: Cusco and Machu Picchu - Peru
ITINERARY
If you decide to take a Peru vacation, then you simply have to visit Cusco, one of the
world’s most popular tourism destinations, with its very own brand of magic and
spirit. From there, you can also easily travel to Machu Picchu, the sacred city of the
Incas, to discover all its hidden enchantments on one of the many different Machu
Picchu tours.
Day 1: Cusco city tour, Sacsayhuaman, and nearby archeological sites
You arrive in the city of Cusco and are taken to your hotel, where the rest of the
morning is free time to rest and to acclimate yourself to the elevation. The afternoon
is set aside for a tour of the incredible colonial city, whose buildings the Spanish
constructed on top of the foundations of Incan palaces. You begin at the Korikancha,
the Temple of the Sun, to witness the exquisite stone work achieved by the Incas.
Next stop is the Main Square for a tour of the Cathedral to see its fabulous wood
carvings and impressive altars and the lovely Church of La Compañia de Jesus
(Society of Christ). Following that, you head upwards to Sacsayhuaman, a fortress
located in a strategic spot high above the city with a view that is absolutely stunning.
You will also visit some other archaeological complexes such as Kenko and
Tambomachay*, and you will have a panoramic view of Puca Pucara. Accomodations
for the night in Cusco.

Day 2: Sacred Valley of the Incas – Inca´s Balcony and Ollantaytambo
Discover the best of the Sacred Valley of the Incas through this route starting on the
Inca's Balcony, a beautiful place with an impressive view of Chinchero ruins and city,
where twelves families still preserve their traditional mores, showing you the
ancestral way in which they process the wool, and obtain those vivid colors for their
textiles.
Later, we will arrive to Moray, an impressing pre-Inca greenhouse, then, we will have
lunch in a local restaurant. Afterwards, we will get to Ollantaytambo, one of the most
monumental architectural complexes of the ancient Inca Empire, one of the few
places where the Spanish conquistadors lost a major battle. Very well known for its
“andenes” (terraces dug into the slopes of mountains for agricultural purposes),
Ollantaytambo was a highly effective fortress, that also served as a temple. Then, we
will follow to the town of Ollantaytambo, with narrow cobblestone streets that have
been continuously inhabited since the 13th century.
Day 3: Sacred City of Machu Picchu
You are going to visit one of the most important energy centers of the world and the
highpoint of your Peru vacation: Machu Picchu. You will travel to Machu Picchu by
train to the town of Aguas Calientes, an experience in which you will see the striking
scenery of the Sacred Valley. Upon your arrival, you will be driven to the
archeological site, and your Machu Picchu tour will be an unforgettable experience,
with a professional guide to impart to you all the history that surrounds this
mysterious and enchanting place. Once the guided tour is over, you will have some
free time to explore the site on your own, to relax, or to meditate. At the agreed
upon hour, you will descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch and board the train later
that afternoon for the return trip. Once you have arrived at either the Ollantaytambo
or Poroy Station, you will be driven to your hotel.
Day 4: Cusco – Departure
At the scheduled time, you will be driven to the airport for your flight to your next
destination.

ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Arequipa-City Tour-Santa Catalina Convent
You arrive in the city of Arequipa and are transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon,
you will tour the famed "White City", stopping by the Santa Catalina Convent, a
lovely 16th century city in miniature that mimics the styles of different Spanish cities
of that time, the Main Square with its three different entrances, and the Church of
the Society of Christ, a supreme example of 17th century Mixed Baroque and Spanish
Baroque Churrigueresque art, as is the multicolored frescos of the San Ignacio
cupola. Following this, you will visit the traditional districts of Cayma and Yanahuara
that boasts a lookout and a lovely church.
Day 2: Colca CanyonYou will journey to the village of Yura and the Aguada Blanca
y Pampa
Cañahuas National Reserve, a natural habitat for alpacas and vicuñas. You will pause
at Patahuasi to rest and drink some coca tea. Afterwards, the drive continues to the
valley's main town, Chivay, where you will have lunch and then be transferred to
your hotel.Accomodations for the night in Chivay.
Day 3: Cruz del Condor - Return to Arequipa
Your day begins very early since you are going to the Cruz del Condor lookout, a site
where you have spectacular views of one of the deepest canyons in the world. If the
conditions are right, you might actually have the chance to take pictures of the
majestic condor, world's largest and most powerful bird. Also depending on the
program, you might stop at the town of Yanque, where you will experience some
local folklore, and visit the villages of Pinchollo and Maca, whose local architecture
decorate the Colca Valley.
Day 4: Arequipa - Departure
At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to your
next destination.
