Lee`s Event Details

Lee's Florida Event
Well so far it's still looking like next January 2018 is still the month we're likely going
with for Lee's invitation to some Florida golf. We're now at 38 for January and 36 in
February.
Once we have a Final count give or take I'll send out additional information including
some possible specific dates we can hopefully all agree on as some rough costs and
looking for any specific room requests.
Right now I think we're looking at the last week in January as a favored pick. Lee is
currently working on these along with our Domestic Event VP Paul. I suspect we'll need
some early deposits at some point to help lock everything in.
If you haven't signed up yet please respond by clicking on the link below by the end of
the day tomorrow 12/13. After that we'll take alternates or enough to round up to an
even 4some.

ENJOY THE DAY
Just a short note from Karyn and myself, wishing you and yours the very best this Thanksgiving and
the Holidays to come.
I thank you all for another eventful Season at the Club. Our membership is like no other and we are
happy to be a part of it.
Also, "food for thought" (get it?!-not funny, I know)-I had an idea about hosting an event down here
next winter but it requires me making reservations, deposits etc soon. Before I proceed, please let me
know if this is something that may interest you all.
-Invitations would be extended to all full & weekday members past and present.
-Host facility would be PGA Golf Club, Port St Lucie Florida 34986
-Check out the website: pgavillage.com
-We have 4 courses, 3 on site with a 4th 1.5 miles east
Realizing how many wish to play from sun up to sun down, I would make arrangements for players
that want to play 36 holes each day.
I'd run an event that would be based on round 1 each day. There would be individual day and overall
prizes.....and the usual individual 50% handicap daily skin game. Plus an end of the event "get
together" for a little food and drink and lots of fun at the "awards" ceremony.
BUT, first I need some feedback...and sooner rather than later - I've been advised to confirm plans
before the New Year, if truly interested -which requires a 30% deposit, which I will take care of at this
time.
There are villas, condos and townhouses to choose from. I will relay prices if/when we proceed. Also,
will find out how many players each accommodates. As well as pricing for 18 and 36 hole players.
Yadda yadda yadda
FYI-Palm Beach airport is a 45-50 minute drive
Orlando is a 75-90 minute drive
Questions:
-What month works best for the majority? Realize, before Christmas would offer better pricing. But, if
we get enough participation, everything would be negotiable.
-What days of the week work best?
-How many days would you like to play?
So I don't get 150 emails...I ask, if possible:
Winter Tour, please go through Bob and he can give me the consensus ..thanx Bob
Hobokens, please go through Charlie..thnx Charlie (even though I prefer to talk to Elvis)!
All other full or weekday members, simply reply to me.
Once I get half an idea of interested parties, I can proceed. If it's something that does not interest
many, no problem there either -just thought I'd throw it out there.
So, I got side-tracked...this was a Happy Holidays wish to all and be well til I see you on the tee!
