Beverly was born in 1927 on
the 1st day of Spring. She was
raised with her younger brother
Richard, in Southern California.
In 1947, she married Rodger
Powell and moved to Ohio.
They had three beautiful
children, Linda Rae, Robert and
William. In 1984, Beverly and
Rodger retired in Yucca Valley.
After Rodger passed in 1999, she
decided to settle in the
Coachella Valley where she met
John, her second husband. She
has always enjoyed traveling and
anything to do with the water.
Beverly moved to Mission Hills
on Easter weekend 2014. You
can always count on her to have
a smile on her face and an
encouraging word for everyone
she comes across. She enjoys just
about every activity and always
wants to lend a helping hand.
We all just love you Beverly!
Zachary holds an A.S in

Brothers, joking around and
hiking. He works in Generations
as the Activity Assistant at
Mission Hills. He is always
willing to go out of his way to
help and always has a smile on
his face. The residents and staff
all enjoy working with Zachary.
He is a great asset to our team at

Welcome Suzy Schaffer
First, I would like to thank
everyone for being so
welcoming and kind. I am
excited and looking forward to
getting to know everyone. As
you already know, I am Suzy
Schaffer, the new Generations
Activity Coordinator. I have
been working in assisted living
and skilled nursing communities
for about nine years. I really
enjoy what I do. It is a passion
of mine to help others. During
my time off, I love spending
time with my daughter Sophia
(15 months) and my loving
husband Michael. We enjoy
spending time with our families
and going to the beach.
Please come and visit me
