Did You Know?
Patricia Adkins, who
lives with her
daughter in Ashland, drives about one hour to
attend church each Sunday morning.
After a satisfying family-style dinner at the Dutch Valley Restaurant,
on December 13, fifty-four of our seniors watched “Our Christmas
Dinner” play at the Ohio Star Theater in Sugar Creek.
BUSstationLEGACYLuncheon - November 15
We viewed our past trips, got excited about our 2017 trips,
were challenged to leave a legacy, and delighted ourselves
(especially our stomachs) at our version of the Golden Corral.
The wife asks: “Can you pick up
milk?” Husband: [lifts a gallon of
milk] “Yea, it’s easy.” Wife: “I
mean from the store.”
Husband: “I would imagine it
weighs the same there too.”
Our annual Christmas Banquet on
December 6 was exceptional. A nice
meal, glorious fellowship and the
wonderful ministry of Chip Wood.
January 10 Luncheon —Our New Year will begin with a
series of “professionals” speaking at our monthly luncheons. Jeff Kudlo, a supervisor of Air Traffic Control in
Oberlin and one of our deacons, will share the pressures,
joys and opportunities of his job. Our luncheons begin at
11:30 am in the fellowship hall and normally conclude by
1:00 pm. It sure would be nice to have you attend.
