Collection of cadastral survey declarations expanded to Pella and
Trikala regions

Following a decision by the National Cadastre and Mapping Agency S.A. (NCMA)
(BoD Dec. No. 618/6, 7/27.11.2014), collection of cadastral survey declarations will
begin Monday 1 December 2014 for those with ownership rights to properties
located within the boundaries of pre-Kapodistrian Local Administration Organisations
(LAOs) in the remainder of the Regional Unit of Trikala (which has not been
surveyed so far), Region of Thessaly, as well as the Kallikratis Municipalities of
Edessa and Almopia, Regional Unit of Pella, Region of Central Macedonia. The
beneficiaries must submit a declaration of their real property to the cadastral office
in the area in which the property is located, or online through the cadastre website
(www.ktimatologio.gr).
The deadline for submission of declarations in these areas, which is mandatory, is 24
April 2015 for residents of Greece, following an extension granted by NCMA decision
(BoD Dec. No. 632/2/24.02.2015), and 1 June 2015 for expatriates and the Greek
State.
In addition to the first stage of the cadastral survey process, which comprises the
collection of declarations in new areas, citizens are also reminded that the process
for the LAOs in the Prefecture of Trikala, as listed below, has already been completed
and the LAOs have been fully incorporated into the cadastre: Agia Kyriaki, Glinos,
Megala Kalyvia, Patoulia, Servota and Trikala, in the Prefecture of Trikala.
For the areas of Glinos and Patoulia in particular, the deadline for citizens to correct
any errors regarding their property expires in 2015, while the deadline for
corrections for Servota and Agia Kyriaki expires in 2016. Once these deadlines
expire, the cadastral entries become final and constitute incontestable presumption
in favour of the cadastral registrants. This means that the contents may not be
changed under any circumstances. For the above areas only, citizens may review the
information regarding their property though the e-Services - Final Cadastral Data
- Initial Registration on the NCMA website (www.ktimatologio.gr), or by contacting
the local cadastral office. Do not contact the cadastral offices in operation exclusively
for collecting declarations for the areas below.
