Justifying:
Luke 16:14-15 “ Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, were listening to all these things and were scoffing at Him.
And He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts; for that which
is highly esteemed among men is detestable in the sight of God.”

Excuse #2
Excuse #3
Blaming
Genesis 3:12-13 12 The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate
it.”13 Then the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me,
and I ate.”
Ignoring
Proverbs 22:3 says, “ The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.”
