Signs – Countdown to Eternity

The Feast of Yahweh can be divided broadly into two sections
1) Passover, Unleavened Bread and Pentecost form one group while
2) Trumpets, Atonement and Tabernacles form another.
Each Festival has a lesson for us.

A flurry of activities is announced by Trumpets.
A call to awake, be prepared.
Announcing that something of significance is about to happen
A call to Israel for regathering, to repentance and preparation for the awful day of Atonement and
later the extended period of rejoicing in Tabernacles.
If there is ever a time when an alarm needs to be sounded it is now.
Acts 2:19-21 I will perform miracles in the sky above and wonders on the earth below. There will be
blood, fire, and thick smoke;
Act 2:20 the sun will be darkened, and the moon will turn red as blood, before the great and glorious Day
of the Lord comes.
Act 2:21 And then, whoever calls out to the Yahweh for help will be saved.’
For the last couple of years we have been observing some of the events in the world.
Signs are spoken of for both heaven and earth. We must look in both directions.
1) Earthquakes,
2) Volcanoes
3) Signs in the heavens
1) Earthquakes
z New research compiled by Australian scientist Dr. Tom Chalko shows that global seismic activity
on Earth is now five times more energetic than it was just 20 years ago. The analysis of more than
386,000 earthquakes between 1973 and 2007 recorded on the US Geological Survey database
PROVED THAT THE GLOBAL ANNUAL ENERGY OF EARTHQUAKES BEGAN
INCREASING VERY FAST SINCE 1990. Dr. Chalko said that global seismic activity is
increasing faster than at any other time in recent history, and that this increase is extremely
alarming. Chalko says:

z "The most serious environmental danger we face on Earth may not be climate change, but rapidly
and systematically increasing seismic, tectonic and volcanic activity."
z Increased Activity For example, between 1986 and 1996 (incl), a period of 11 years, there were
"just" 15 earthquakes listed by U.S. Geological Survey of magnitude 7.0 or greater. But between
1997 and 2007 (incl), a period of only 11 years, there were 99 earthquakes with magnitude 7.0 or
greater: This is more than a six-fold increase on the previous similar period - and is a stark
increase on any earlier decades in the 20th century as well.
z The trends are ominous: Long quiescent volcanoes are turning active IN UNISON.
z All of the earthquake prone regions are simultaneously active.

ARE THE PHENOMENONS OF VOLCANO MENTION IN THE BIBLE?
1) Volcanoes are not mentioned by name in the bible
2) The effects and results of volcanoes though, are described
3) The word “volcano” did not exist during the writing of the Old Testament scriptures
Where does the name volcano come from?
z The word "volcano" comes from the little island of Vulcano in the Mediterranean Sea off Sicily.
z From the name of the Roman god of fire, Vulcan.
z He forged weapons for the other gods, including Zeus's lightning bolts.
z When a volcano erupted in Roman times, the people explained it as Vulcan being angry, and
hitting the anvil in his forgery (the volcano) with extra strength, sending up the sparks.
Scriptures that describes volcanic activities
z Deu 4:11 "Tell your children how you went and stood at the foot of the mountain which was
covered with thick clouds of dark smoke and fire blazing up to the sky. (GNB) Deu 5:23 "When
the whole mountain was on fire and you heard the voice from the darkness, your leaders and the
chiefs of your tribes came to me
z Psa 97:5 The hills melt like wax before the Yahweh, before the Lord of all the earth.
z Psa 144:5 O Yahweh, tear the sky open and come down; touch the mountains, and they will pour
out smoke.
z Isa 64:1 Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the
mountains might flow down at thy presence,
z Mic 1:4 And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax
before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.
z Nah 1:5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence,
yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.
z Nah 1:6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger?
his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.
Effects Ω
z Gas
Volcanic eruptions usually contain a number of harmful gases like carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide,
water vapor, hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen fluoride, hydrogen chloride, carbon monoxide, halocarbon
and metal chlorides that can create a lot of changes in the Earth's atmosphere

Landslides and Lahars
z Volcanic eruptions are generally accompanied by dreadful vibrations in the surrounding areas,
which causes landslides. In the past, such landslides were responsible for burying surrounding
cities.
z Lahar or mud flow, is another danger posed by volcanoes. Lahars contain rocks, mud and water
and can travel long distances at great speeds. They destroy almost everything in their way.
Lava
z The mention of the name, volcano, brings to mind the red hot lava, destroying and burning
everything that comes in its way. But, lava flow is only a part of the hazards created by volcanoes.
Ashfall Ω
Volcanic ash mainly consists of small and sharp rock particles formed from the break down of magma.
The explosive eruptions of volcanoes can throw such ash particles over a long distance. Ash rains can
cover a vast area and hence cause huge economic losses
The earth’s atmosphere is affected Ω
z Important gases ejected by erupting volcanoes are water vapor, carbon dioxide, and sulfur
compounds like sulfur dioxide
z If there were a large number of volcanic eruptions over a short period of time, however, the
carbon dioxide levels may contribute to global warming
z Sulfur compounds from volcanoes can cause real problems, on the other hand. They rise easily
into the stratosphere where they combine with small amounts of water vapor to form tiny droplets
of sulfuric acid (sometimes called "battery acid" since it's found in your car's battery). These
droplets reflect large amounts of sunlight back into space for several months and may significantly
cool the earth.
The weather pattern is altered
The main effect on weather right near a volcano is that there is often a lot of rain, lightning, and thunder
during an eruption. This is because all the ash particles that are thrown up into the atmosphere are good
at attracting/collecting water droplets.
z Numerous volcanoes presently active and erupting across the planet will impact short-term
warming and climate change. Longer-term impacts are unknown.
Signs in the Heavens Ω
z Luk 21:25 "And there shall be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth
distress of nations, with perplexity, as the sea and the waves roar,
z Luk 21:26 men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are
coming upon the earth, for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Part of the Purpose of Sun Moon and Stars
z Gen 1:14 And Elohim said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day
from the night; and let them be for signs ('oth, markers, indicators) , and for seasons (moadhim,
solemn assembly, dress rehearsal , appointment, feast) , and for days and years:
z The star fore told Messiah’s birth
z There was darkness on the Passover that Yahshua was crucified

Amos 8:9 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith Yahweh Elohim, that I will cause the sun
to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:
It was a sign that men had rejected light and rather darkness.
If it was a solar eclipse then it was a most unusual one.
a) No solar eclipse at full moon and the 3 hours is very long for an eclipse.
A season of judgement
z Joel 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great
and the terrible day of the Yahweh come.
These events are warning of impending judgments upon the earth, not the end of the earth
z ISRAEL IS CENTRAL TO YAHWEH’S END TIME PROPHETIC PLAN.
z Signs in the heavens on that occur on Feast days seem to be important in relation to Israel
and the world.
Signs in the sun Ω
A total solar eclipse occurs in 2015 on Nissan 1 (Abib) , ending one religious year and beginning the
next.
On the Feast of Trumpets in 2015 there will be another solar eclipse
z The Jewish Talmud (book of tradition/interpretation) says, "When the moon is in eclipse, it is a
bad omen for Israel. If its face is as red as blood, [it is a sign that] the sword is coming to the
world.“
z Total solar eclipses have been a bad omen for the nations, while blood-red moons have been a
bad omen for the Jewish people and Israel.
SOLAR CYCLES Ω
Solar cycles are periods usually of about 11 years when there is a changing ebb and flow of radiation
coming from the sun. The sun has a strong magnetic field
z The solar cycle 23, which was milder by comparison, produced weather like the tsunami in
Indonesia, and Hurricane Katrina(category 5).
z With cycle 24, it will be more intense.
z The present solar cycle 24 (solar storm) which is the worst in 400 years. Ω
z It will affect life on earth, the earth itself, the weather, and our own physical bodies. It began in
2008 and will peak around 2012.
z NASA stating cycle 24 will be up to 50 percent stronger than “Cycle 23″ in which we witnessed
the largest solar flare ever recorded.
z What awaits us in the next number of years? Ω
z In reality, these storms can carry tremendous power and travel at speeds up to 5 million miles per
hour. Solar storms have been known to knock out satellites, power supplies, communications and
navigation systems.

z This means larger earth changing events in the way of earthquakes, volcanoes, hurricanes, and
various storms. Ω
z But it also means we (humans) will be bombarded with charged particles via severe geomagnetic
storms from the Sun
Pastor Mark Blitz a Messianic the founder of El Shaddai Ministries, a Hebrew roots congregation in
Washington State.
On Feb 20th 2008 on the temple mount he saw a total lunar eclipse (blood moon). He went to Nasa
website to see if there were any total lunar or solar eclipses for the next 10 years. What arrested him
was the dates on which these events took place. All on Jewish Feast days!
There will be a total four lunar eclipses in a row in 2014 and 2015, which is call a "tetrad."
z A “tetrad” is a rare series of four blood red moons. Ω
z When you look at them in the Hebrew calendar, it is discovered that the first lunar eclipse in 2014
is on Passover.
z The second is on the first day of Succoth (Feast of Tabernacles). That seemed pretty unusual.
z A lunar eclipse (blood moon) on the first and last of Yahweh’s feasts for two years in a row! Ω
z The next question was, how often does this happen?
z In this century there are other tetrads, but none occur on the festivals.
z In the last century, the last time there was a tetrad on Passover and Succoth was in 1967 and 1968,
associated with the miraculous Six Day War when Jerusalem came back into the hands of the
Jewish people.
z The next previous time was 1949 and 1950, marking Israel miraculously becoming a nation on
May 14, 1948
z In the 1800s, no tetrads at all. In the 1700s, no tetrads at all. In the 1600s, no tetrads at all. In the
1500s, 5 or 6 tetrads but none on Passover and Succoth.
z it is a historical rarity that they will all be on significant Jewish feast days
z Three sets of blood-red moons that corresponded to significant events:
z The Spanish Inquisition final year 1492 when the Alhambra Decree ordered all remaining Jews
who would not convert to Christianity to leave Spain,
z the 1948 War of Independence and the
z 1967 Six-Day War had back-to-back, blood-red moons occur on the first day of Passover and
Sukkot the following two years or beginning the same year of the 1967 Six-Day War for two
years.
The Specific dates
z The Spanish Inquisition — 1492
z 200,000 Jews were expelled from Spain, tens of thousands died trying to reach safety. They were
given four months to depart and they were forced to sell their property for little or nothing.
z Others were forced to concert to “Christianity”
z The Jews' expulsion had been the pet project of the Spanish Inquisition, headed by Father Tomas
de Torquemada. Torquemada believed that as long as the Jews remained in Spain, they would
influence the tens of thousands of recent Jewish converts to Christianity to continue practicing
Judaism.

The War of Independence — 1948
On November 29, 1947, the UN voted to partition western Palestine into separate Jewish and Arab
States (GA Resolution 181). Although the area allocated to the Jewish State was very much smaller
than had been promised in terms of the Balfour Declaration [1], and which comprised more than 75%
desert, the Jewish leadership accepted partition, but all the Arab states rejected it. Had the Arabs
accepted partition then, there would be no Palestinian refugee problem today.
The State of Israel was declared on May 14, 1948, and the very next day the newborn state was
attacked by the armies of Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon as well as the Arab
Liberation Army commanded by Fawzi al-Kaukji; seven armies in all.

z The Six-Day War — 1967
The Six-Day War took place in June 1967. The Six-Day War was fought between June 5th and June
10th. The Israelis defended the war as a preventative military effort to counter what the Israelis saw as
an impending attack by Arab nations that surrounded Israel.
Rather than wait to be attacked, the Israelis launched a hugely successful military campaign against its
perceived enemies. The air forces of Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Iraq were all but destroyed on June 5th.
By June 7th, many Egyptian tanks had been destroyed in the Sinai Desert and Israeli forces reached
the Suez Canal. On the same day, the whole of the west bank of the Jordan River had been cleared of
Jordanian forces. The Golan Heights were captured from Syria and Israeli forces moved 30 miles into
Syria itself.

z Rev:8:10-11 “Then the third angel sounded; And a great star fell from Heaven, burning like a
torch, and it fell upon a third of the rivers and on the springs of water,

z Falling stars are either comets, asteroids, meteors, or dying stars which send out gamma bursts. Ω
z In context, this “star” is mentioned along with the sun and moon, which would confirm it is a
natural object
z Gamma-ray bursts are short-lived bursts of gamma-ray photons, the most energetic form of light.
That are associated with the explosions marking the deaths of especially massive stars.

Severe skin cancers. For humans and other animals,
Slow starvation would likely result, as the harmful ultraviolet flux retard plant growth
And damage and alter ecosystems supporting the food chain.
The 1st and 4th angels in Revelation 16 pour out judgment on the earth . The results are
1. a grievous sore (skin cancer?) upon the men which had the mark of the beast
2. Men scorched with fire and heat from the sun, (due to destruction of the ozone layer?) (verses
8-9)
z As in a nuclear winter, the nitric oxides darkening our skies could also cause acid rains and
significant cooling of the Earth’s surface, (resulting in severe climate change).
They that call upon the name of Yahweh shall be saved
How can they call unless they believe, how can they believe unless they have heard, how can they hear
unless someone is sent.
