Clairity bscurity is defined as something that is unclear or difficult to understand. In their early stages, most of our plans are obscure. Although the end goals may be clear in our minds, we are aware that changes are inevitable, leaving the outcome unclear like a blurry photograph. “At the beginning of the year, I set a goal for myself to graduate at the top of my class. It's going to require a lot of hard work and I'm not sure how I'll get there,” said senior Madison Thompson. No matter how much a teacher prepares for a class, no matter how many hours athletes put into practices, and no matter how productive students are in classes and extracurricular activities, the end result is still sometimes ambiguous in comparison to the initial idea. The process from start to finish is just as important as the outcome. Goals begin as obscure and vvague ideas. They may seem out of reach and out of focus. However with hard work and perseverance, successes and results will become clear. Throughout this book we will highlight some of those successes, those “a-ha” moments, our moments of clairity. -Anisa Heilman and Nikkoll Miller Opening (2) 7 2 Even Page Job# 1648 School St. Clair County High School 5/18/15 7:48 PM Page submitted with acknowledged preflight check issue(s): Embedded Image, Embedded Image eDesign Template eDesign L ©2007 Herff Jones, Inc., All Rights Reserved Black Ink Includes Spot Color(s) Process 4 Color (CMYK) Submitted
