Dear Parents/Carers,
Academy
Firstly, I would like to thank all the parents, staff
and children for making me feel so welcome in my
first two weeks at White House Academy.

It has been a great start to the term, parents evenings were well attended and I have already seen
some fabulous work completed by our children.
Term 5 and 6 are going to be very busy, with swimming starting for Year 4, SATs for Year 6, Reception
and Year 1 Class have their school trips booked and
Sports Day will be either the end of June or the beginning of July, depending on the Great British
weather.
Today I received a message from Freedom Leisure
to compliment our pupils on their brilliant behaviour at the swimming pool and I would like to say
well done to our year 4 children once again.
I have added some information on keeping our children safe at home on the internet, following an information session that I attended. We will be holding a parents information session at the end of
term, date to be confirmed.
I wish you all a fantastic bank holiday weekend and
look forward to seeing you all back, bright and
breezy, on Tuesday morning.
Centaurs - Australia Day
Thursday 4th May
Centaurs will be experiencing the
cultures and tasting foods from Australia.
We are lucky to have a parent
(Australian nationality) who has volunteered to come and tell us all about
it. If you are able to offer anything like
this, please contact a class teacher.

Fair. If you would like to be involved and can spare a little time
or if you have some great ideas,

It is a great way to make friends
