battles—that’s where it’s at.”

-Gold Medalist Jesse Owens
Jaguar Family,
Jesse Owens speaks to the battles that
matter—the battles to further oneself. It is
easy to stay up late and sleep in; it’s easy to
watch TV or go online instead of doing
homework. These are the daily battles that
matter! Win these battles! Get a good night’s
rest, use your planner to stay organized, set
aside time for homework and study. Quarter 1
ends in THIRTEEN DAYS, and RCPU is
November 17th and 18th. Set a goal for
yourself to earn a strong GPA in Quarter One
and work hard to meet that goal over the next
few weeks. Set yourself up for a great RCPU
Conversation!
Best,

I acknowledge that I received the newsletter, read it thoroughly, and am ready for my scholar to
cut off and turn in this signature section to his/her advisor for a grade. I understand that newsletters are distributed EVERY Monday and newsletters
are the primary way JRLA communicates with families. I will look for my scholar’s newsletters to sign and return for an advisory grade each week.
