Overview
P&G was one of the pioneers in developing local
industry in Saudi Arabia. The Tide plant in Jeddah was
the first consumer products manufacturing facility
established in the region. Since then, P&G has played
a key role in developing the local economy and
communities with continuous investment allowing us
to develop local talents and become one of the key
exporters in the region.
We are proud our business is led by many local
talents and many more x-P&G employees are leading
other significant businesses in the region. From our
landmark manufacturing facilities in Saudi Arabia, we
are exporting to more than 50 countries in the
Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Eastern Europe.
P&G in the Arabian Peninsula has been very active in
developing local standards and designing our
operations to be friendly to the environment. Our
deep understanding of the local consumers has
enabled to us introduce products that meet and serve
their needs to improve their lives.
Our Contributions to the local community have been
very strong and diverse in their nature and are in line
with P&G global corporate cause “Live, Learn,
Thrive”. In the area of Live, our programs are focused
on marketing cause related projects where we
partner with professional NGOs and Ministries of
health and Education to drive Education/Health
messaging. Our long term projets to support
education are landmarks in the region with the first
of its kind Science Innovation Club.
Collaborative programs to build self esteem among
children are our focus in the area of Thrive. Coupled
with our corporate cause initiatives, our local
community programs reach more than 1.5 Million
children in need in the region.
